Man Arrested In Connection To 2023 Fatal Fire

An arrest has been made in an investigation into a fatal fire. On January 11, 2023, firefighters responded to the 900 block of Magnolia Way in Lumberton on reports of an apartment fire. Christopher Bethea suffered burns and smoke inhalation and did not survive the injuries he sustained in the fire. An investigation lead to the arrest of Antonio Sealey.
