The chase unfolded Thursday and ended on Seneca Street in Lumberton after the suspected vehicle crashed into a building. 23-year-old Taysean Mercer was taken into custody and charged with felony flee to elude, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, possession of a firearm by felon, felony hit and run causing injury and many more.
