Major Fashion Retailer Begins Closing All Remaining 37 Stores - the Dates Confirmed
Administrators are discounting stock by up to 80% as they wind down the retailer’s final stores and seek to pay outstanding debts.
Fashion retailer Quiz has begun closing its 37 remaining UK stores after entering administration, with administrators at Interpath announcing a "closure plan" to shut all shops by the end of June.
Quiz fell into administration in February for the second time in 12 months after a "tough start" to 2026, with joint administrators Alistair McAlinden and Geoff Jacobs appointed to oversee the wind-down.
Administrators are offering discounts of up to 80% at remaining sites to recover outstanding debts, while Jacobs said staff have shown "dedication and professionalism under difficult circumstances." Quiz concessions in New Look and Matalan remain open.
More than 100 head office and warehouse jobs remain at risk during the wind-down; six shops have already closed, while Hanley and Mansfield are scheduled to shut tomorrow, June 13.
The UK high street has endured a difficult 2026, with retailers like Las Iguanas and Poundstretcher also facing potential collapse after having "fallen into financial difficulties" amid widespread store closures.
