The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority (SEDDK) has amended the Regulation on the Operating Principles of the Natural Disaster Insurance Institution (DASK).
According to the regulation published in the Official Gazette, at least one-third of DASK (Turkish Natural Disaster Insurance Pool) funds will be invested in Treasury bonds and lease certificates. Investments will be audited monthly, and the share that can be allocated to a single issuer cannot exceed 10 percent.
