- The seven-member committee includes Maharashtra Director General of Police Sadanand Date and Prof Shyamprasad Karagadde from IIT Bombay, tasked with reviewing question paper preparation and security protocols.
- Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis ordered establishment of 25,000 secure classrooms across Maharashtra and directed officials to extend stringent central legislation to the state within two weeks.
- The committee will visit revenue divisions to consult with students and educational institutions, subsequently submitting recommendations on institutional mechanisms for coordination among police, education authorities, and examination agencies.
