The security guard, 27, from Abu Ghosh and with no criminal record, is suspected of attacking a fan during a fight that broke out at halftime of the match between Hapoel Petah Tikva and Maccabi Netanya. Police claim he was filmed hitting the fan in the head with a baton and fleeing the stadium. During his interrogation, he claimed: "I acted in self-defense."
