Mabrey and Howard lead a loaded WNBA All-Star 3-point contest in Chicago
Mabrey leads the league with 82 made 3-pointers, while Howard ranks second, and four other players join after several stars declined invitations.
On Friday, July 24, 2026, Toronto Tempo guard Marina Mabrey and Atlanta Dream forward Rhyne Howard headline the WNBA 3-Point contest at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, leading a field of six participants.
While Sabrina Ionescu, Caitlin Clark, and Kayla McBride declined invitations to participate, the six-player field features top shooters including rookie Azzi Fudd of the Dallas Wings and Bridget Carleton of the Portland Fire.
Mabrey leads the WNBA with 82 made three-pointers while shooting 39.2 per cent, having tied the league record by hitting nine 3-pointers in a game twice this season.
Competing in two timed rounds featuring 'money balls' and 'From the Logo' shots, players will earn $20,000 for the winner and $10,000 for each participant under the new collective bargaining agreement.
Team Teresa Weatherspoon and Team Cynthia Cooper will face off in the WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday, following this competition at Wintrust.
