In just a few days, through the publication of videos claiming several fires on social networks, a new group calling itself the "Jefe [chef in Spanish] mafia" drew the attention of the security forces who had already identified five of the six events reported. Moreover, the group claimed the gusts fired at the facades of restaurants in Lyon 3e, on the night of Thursday 26 to Friday 27 February.
Shots were fired at two restaurants in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon on the night of 26-27 February 2026, near Part-Dieu.
