The winner of the first round of the early elections for mayor of Krakow, Łukasz Gibała, kicked off his campaign for the decisive vote on Monday morning. The candidate from Krakow for Residents appeared at dawn at the Mogilskie Roundabout, where he handed out pretzels.
Six Civic Coalition (KO) councilors contacted me, saying they were open to talks. "They didn't like what Aleksander Miszalski was doing, and if I win the election, they're open to cooperation," Łukasz Gibała told RMF FM. The winner of the first round of the early Krakow mayoral elections also met with city residents early this morning and handed out pretzels.
"I find it hard to imagine that Law and Justice or Confederation voters would vote for Ms. Piątkowska in the second round," Łukasz Gibała, a councilor and independent candidate for mayor of Krakow who won the first round, told RMF24 in a morning interview. The activist promises a substantive campaign and insists he is ready to cooperate with Donald Tusk's government for the good of the city.
