PSG Boss Luis Enrique Impressed by Arsenal and Predicts ‘Truly Great’ Final
Enrique said Arsenal deserve to win the league and praised Mikel Arteta's team as one of Europe's best without the ball.
Ahead of the Champions League final in Budapest, PSG manager Luis Enrique praised Arsenal on Wednesday, noting they won the Premier League and earned their place in the European showpiece.
On Tuesday night, The Gunners ended a 22-year wait for the Premier League title after Manchester City drew 1-1 at Bournemouth, triggering celebrations at the Emirates Stadium.
Enrique credited manager Mikel Arteta for instilling a winning mentality, stating, "When you look at Arsenal's stats, you can see that Mikel Arteta is a leader as a manager."
PSG advanced to the final by defeating Bayern Munich 6-5 on aggregate, though manager Luis Enrique monitors forward Ousmane Dembele's calf injury and defender Achraf Hakimi's thigh issue.
Arsenal will conclude their domestic campaign at Crystal Palace on Sunday before traveling to Hungary for the May 30 final at Puskas Arena in pursuit of their first Champions League title.
