Lufthansa has found a new Chairman for its Supervisory Board: the current Chairman of Alpiq's Board of Directors and former Eon CEO Johannes Teyssen is expected to lead the Supervisory Board in the future, as the airline announced in Frankfurt on Tuesday.

Former E-On CEO Johannes Teyssen will become the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Lufthansa. The 65-year-old will be proposed for election at the next Annual General Meeting. He was not originally the first choice for his successor.
