The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that heavy rains are likely to occur in some parts of Andhra Pradesh from September 19 due to the influence of a low pressure area forming in the North Andaman Sea region.
According to a bulletin released by IMD, a surface depression extending up to 7.6 km above sea level has formed over northern Thailand. It is expected to move towards the coast on September 18.
Rain | Meteorologists say that conditions are favorable for the formation of another low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal. The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority has said that a low-pressure area is likely to form on Saturday, i.e. the 19th evening of this month, due to the influence of a surface circulation in the North Andaman Sea region.
