The Falcon Leap military training drills are taking place over the Netherlands starting today. Operating from Eindhoven Air Base, air force and army personnel from 11 countries will be practicing dropping cargo and paratroopers from planes. Expect low-flying planes, air drops, and parachutists across large parts of the country. The drills will run until September 18.

The statement of the Ministry of Defence specifies that other than the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, the United States, Spain and Sweden take part in the manoeuvres, the latter joining the Falcon Leap for the first time.
Over the next two weeks, military transport aircraft will fly low over a large part of the Netherlands. This is taking place during a major exercise involving eleven countries. Soldiers from the Army and Air Force are practicing dropping paratroopers and cargo. The Ministry of Defence reports that the flights may cause a nuisance.
