The Mészáros Group wrote about the letter in its statement on Monday, and then also stated that, contrary to Magyar's claims, the ownership group does not plan to sell TV2.
A statement was issued, naming the Mészáros Group as the “largest private competitive market employer,” which “accounts for a significant percentage of Hungary’s GDP, and is therefore committed to maintaining a stable and predictable work environment and to achieving strategic goals that are important for the national economy, as well as the development of the Hungarian economy.”
Lőrinc Mészáros wrote a letter to Péter Magyar about TV2. The content is a secret, but he admitted that he is the owner of the channel.
Péter Magyar reacted on his social media page to the letter sent to him by Lőrinc Mészáros. He said the letter was both a plea and a threat, but neither was necessary.
