Backpack the Loop of Meadows-Quehanna Wild Area | Hike Pennsylvania with Jeff Mitchell This is a 30ish mile backpacking loop with moderate terrain. It was incredibly diverse and scenic with extensive meadows, creeks, waterfalls, diverse forests of pine, spruce, hemlocks and hardwoods, good camping, and isolation. There were beaver dams and ponds. I chose this route to highlight the Quehanna's many meadows and glades, some looked like Dolly Sods.
