Looking back: Normal in 2025

The Town of Normal had a productive year in 2025, with the reopening of the Normal Public Library and Fairview Skatepark, the launch of the new College of Engineering at Illinois State University, and the completion of the Pedestrian Safety Initiative, as well as the relocation of the Normal Fire Station Two and the loss of Mike Holtz, the owner of the Christmas house on Hovey Avenue.

Looking back over 2025

Towards the end of his life the Apostle Paul testified about the spiritual journey he had traveled serving Jesus Christ. In 2 Timothy 4:7, he said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”.
