Genesis’s First Pure Supercar Concept Is a Look at the Marque’s Future
At Circuit Paul Ricard, Genesis unveiled the production GV60 Magma, its first high-performance EV positioned against Mercedes‑Benz AMG and BMW M.
Magma signals Genesis's expansion into high-performance models and a bid to shape the brand's next decade, with José Muñoz saying Genesis reached one million global sales faster than any luxury marque.
Under the skin, the GV60 Magma pairs dual motors with AWD, delivering 650 hp and 790 Nm in Boost Mode, which provides a 15-second power surge.
Genesis plans a 2026 launch in the US and Europe; pricing is expected near $71,875, based on the 2026 GV60 Performance starting price.
The GV60 Magma lowers ride height by 20 mm and widens its stance with wide fenders, Magma-exclusive 213 wheels and 275 mm tires, plus a three-hole bumper, revised diffuser, large rear wing, Magma Mode display and upgraded Chamude interior.
