The Dalai Lama expressed sadness over the floods in Nepal and Tibet, praying for those who lost their lives and offering condolences to the bereaved.
Flash floods and landslides on August 26 killed at least 165 people and left more than 1,300 missing near the Nepal-Tibet border, affecting local communities including small Tibetan settlements.
