- Footage reviewed by CTV News reveals Nooran was shot within about 10 seconds of the police cruiser stopping, with less than 10 seconds before two fatal shots; the BEI confirmed only the officer's firearm was seized and no weapon was found on Nooran.
- Mayor Catherine Fournier asked Quebec Minister of Public Security Ian Lafrenière to open an investigation into SPAL, while the BEI and Montreal police continue probes and the officer is on indefinite leave.
