Longmont police arrested a man Thursday evening after he barricaded himself in a Baker Street garage and allegedly strangled and pointed a rifle at another person. Longmont officers took a man into custody shortly before 5:40 p.m. Thursday after he had barricaded himself in a home in the 700 block of Baker Street for more than four hours.
