London's forgotten 'first mosque' that used to be in Kew Gardens 260 years ago

Summary by Ground News
London's first mosque was built in Kew Gardens in 1761 by a Scottish-Swedish architect. The mosque was not a working mosque, as there was no Muslim community around to make use of it. A new community of Muslim settlers in Britain were successfully able to open the first purpose-built mosque in the UK in Woking 128 years later.
