London City Airport doubles taxi rank barrier fee to £2 from 17 July

London City Airport will double its taxi rank barrier fee to £2 for all vehicles from Thursday 17 July 2025, the Licensed Taxi Drivers Association (LTDA) has confirmed.The current £1 charge, applied at the final stages of the airport’s taxi rank, will be replaced with a higher flat rate for every taxi entering the site.
