A vision previously associated primarily with science fiction films is beginning to take shape, thanks to a new stealth drone from Lockheed Martin. The Vectis is an autonomous combat aircraft designed to operate alongside piloted fighter jets, including the F-35. The program has just been accelerated, as the manufacturer announced that it plans to build a total of five aircraft instead of one.
