Locals pick a fight with young boys fishing
A group of adults threatened and intimidated teenagers fishing at a West Lakes pond, prompting outrage in the Adelaide community and support for the teens.
RECFISH SA voiced support for the teenagers and plans to hold an event at Delfin Island to promote fishing, which is legal in the area.
Matthew Visentin, a father of one of the boys, expressed gratitude towards RECFISH SA for supporting his son after the incident.
Police are investigating the matter, as the City of Charles Sturt reviews its fishing bylaws.
