Local municipal liquor stores end 2023 in the black

All four municipal liquor operations in the Heartland Lakes area posted net profits in 2023, according to a recent report from the office of Minnesota State Auditor Julie Blaha. Leading the area in gross sales and dollars of net profit was Park Rapids’ own Rapids Spirits Liquor Store.
