Local custodian recognized as 'Unsung Hero'

HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN) – Hubbard Exempted Village School District announced Tuesday that a long-time employee is the recent recipient of a state award. Derek Helmick was honored Thursday, May 1, at the Ohio Association of Public School Employees Northeast District Conference, where he received the "Unsung Hero" award.
