Swimming, boating and paddling are popular summer activities throughout the region, but after multiple fatal drownings nearby this summer, authorities are urging the public to do what they can to stay safe around the water.
Prof. Amnon Lahad, a family medicine specialist at Clalit Health Services, warns of the increasing number of drowning incidents at sea and in swimming pools and recommends safety rules.
