LMC board authorizes purchase of cardiac sonography equipment for new program

The Lake Michigan College Board of Trustees has authorized the purchase of state of the art equipment for the college’s new Cardiac Sonography Program. The board’s approved the $201,000 purchase of two Philips cardiac ultrasound machines, which can take photographs of the heart and enable students to see the blood flow.
