Lithuania does not have the means to return Ukrainians of the shooting age to their homeland

In response to the mobilisation announced in Ukraine by Polish politicians and considering measures that might force Ukrainians of shooting age living in Poland to return to their homeland, such possibilities have not yet been considered in Lithuania. As the Head of the Department of Migration Evelina Gudzinskaitė notes, there is currently no legal basis in Lithuania obliging the country to assist Ukraine in the mobilisation process.
