Lisbon loses gold from the country's most expensive square meter to Cascais by the end of 2023.

The average price of a square meter in Portugal went up to 1619 euros at the end of the year, 7.9 percent more than in the last quarter of the year. Among the more populous cities, Lisbon lost the gold of the more expensive square meter, but prices fell only in the Oeiras.
