The Enac has announced that the new rules on the transport of liquids in the hand luggage, that allow containers beyond the 100 ml, are currently applied in five Italian airports. In the other ports of call the previous restrictions remain in force until the installation of new scanners
Even though more and more airports have modern scanners, strict rules still apply to liquids. But now the restriction may be lifted.
Starting July 25, European air travelers can carry up to 2 liters of liquids in their carry-on luggage without having to remove them at security. But at Turin Caselle, the change applies only to those who pay: the new system is active only at the Fast Track checkpoint, accessible by purchasing a €9 supplement or with first-class tickets.
