Central Washington University students gathered in protest at noon May 7 to circle the campus in a march against proposed budget cuts for some of the university’s clubs, programs and publications.

Linfield University facing budget cuts

Linfield University is facing a $5 million budget gap. Changes are being made, and proposals are being made about how to close this gap. These changes could include a voluntary separation incentive program (VSIP), reduction in force (RIF), and reorganization, elimination, and merger (REM).
