More than a year after abuse allegations put the Owasso Animal Shelter under scrutiny, volunteers and rescue partners say the shelter has made major progress.
As of June of this year, 322 investigation kits have been initiated in Tabasco and 12 people have been arrested for animal abuse cases, said Gilberto Melquiades Miranda Díaz, deputy prosecutor for common crimes at the Tabasco State Attorney General’s Office.
