A skincare services provider in the heart of the Isle of Wight says they have seen a 22% hike in referrals for skin cancer over the past year, with the manager describing the surge as ‘way beyond’ the normal increase.  Malcolm White, general manager at The Lighthouse Clinic in Newport, said the surge is “way beyond” the normal increase and that the hub on Crocker Street now sees around 6 times more people than it did 13 years ago.
