Lidl Shoppers Urged to Return Product to Store over Choking Hazard

  • The Food Standards Agency announced Lidl GB is recalling Snaktastic Multigrain Bites Sour Cream & Black Pepper 150g multipacks, batch 207345, sold in England, Scotland and Wales.
  • Because pieces of foil were found, the FSA issued a Product Recall Information Notice warning the affected product may cause choking and is unsafe to eat.
  • Customers are urged not to eat the product and to return it to a Lidl GB store for a full refund, Lidl has apologised and is offering refunds after the recall.
  • Point-of-Sale notices explaining the recall will be displayed in all retail stores, and customers can contact Lidl GB Customer Care on 0203 966 5566 or at customer.care@lidl.co.uk.
  • FSA guidance explains withdrawal versus recall and issues Product Recall Information Notices to inform local authorities and consumers; Lidl says no other Snaktastic products in Lidl GB stores are affected.
