Lidl, Co-op, Farmfoods and more issue 'do not eat' warnings as products recalled
Multiple UK retailers recall products due to undeclared allergens, physical contaminants, and bacterial toxins, risking allergic reactions and infant illness, the Food Standards Agency said.
- The Food Standards Agency said several recalls are active across the UK involving retailers including Lidl GB, Co-op, Farmfoods, and Danone, due to undeclared allergens or contamination risks.
- Packaging errors left milk, soya and wheat undeclared in Co-op Irresistible Chips, creating allergy risks, and a Danone batch may contain cereulide toxin, the FSA said.
- Items sold at TK Maxx between May and July 2025 carry a best before date of September 9, 2026, with helplines 0330 041 7737 and 0800 996 1000 for refunds.
- Point-of-Sale notices will be displayed in retail stores selling recalled products, and customers are advised not to eat them but return for a full refund via company refund procedures.
- People with allergies and coeliac disease face risks from products recalling allergen contamination, with one affecting products originating from Indonesia, the FSA said.
