Recently, Meng Yang was removed from the post of Deputy Secretary General of the State Council of the Communist Party of China. Up to now, 5 of the original 7 Deputy Secretaries of the State Council have stepped down after Li Keqiang stepped down from office after two sessions this year. According to Hong Kong media analysis, the only two remaining people will soon be transferred to Gang.
