There is general agreement that MPs are being mobilized as rarely through debates around the 2026 Finance Bill, with high-quality exchanges. Nevertheless, political disagreements and the number of amendments tabled make it increasingly likely that the budget will be adopted by ordinances.
With the completion of the round of ministers in the Legislature, the ruling party is preparing for the debate in the precinct, which will arrive in the middle of the month. It will be a test of fire to elucidate the validity of the compromise between the macrism and the libertarians.
