In the Tribunal de Tours (Indre-et-Loire), the founders of the French Canon were prosecuting deputies of Ille-et-Vilaine Marie Mesmeur and Mathilde Hignet for defamation, who had accused the organizing company of banquets of promoting extreme right-wing ideology there.
