Lewes Area Work-Zone Speed Camera Records Nearly 25,000 Violations in One Month
A speed camera located at the north end of the Minos Conaway Road construction Zone --located at Red Mill Pond on the southbound side of Route 1--- led to nearly 25,000 speed violations in the first month. The citations are issued for drivers going 11 mph. over the 50 m.p.h. work-zone speed limit. 24,749 speed violations were recorded between November 11th and December 12th.
