"He Was Fried While Calling Plays": Le'Veon Bell Accuses Adam Gase of Snorting Cocaine Multiple Times During Disastrous Jets Tenure
Bell said he saw his former Jets coach use cocaine in his office multiple times, a claim that remains unverified.
During an appearance on The Justin Laboy Show, former NFL running back Le'Veon Bell alleged he witnessed his former head coach Adam Gase using cocaine in his office multiple times before practice.
Gase led the New York Jets to a 9-23 record during 2019 and 2020, while Bell struggled to replicate his earlier success during his 17 games with the franchise.
Calling Gase 'the dumbest coach ever,' Bell claimed he witnessed Gase under the influence, stating, 'We got practice in 28 minutes' while the coach allegedly used drugs before team activities.
Currently working as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Chargers, Gase has not publicly responded to the allegations made by his former player.
The unverified allegations have sparked significant reaction across sports media, shifting focus from Bell's on-field struggles to these serious, uncorroborated off-field claims requiring no formal league investigation.
