CARTHAGE, Ill. —On Wednesday 8/19, the Carthage School District voted to hire Mr. Gary Miller of Texas as a board consultant. According to the contract I obtained through FOIA, Mr. Miller will be paid $800 per day for up to 120 days, totaling as much as $96,000 per year.
