Letter: The history behind those pink crosswalks

In reading Wednesday’s “Editor For A Day” regarding removing “the unattractive pink fake brick crosswalks,” weren’t they done to assist with wheelchairs? There was a young man in a wheelchair with the first name of Jonathan that was instrumental in getting them done. I don’t remember his last name and he has since passed away, but I can still see him in my mind’s eye. A very proactive young man concerning ADA and his community. Seems the crosswa…
