As many alert readers of The Columbian have recently observed, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez is not an ideal Democrat. She does not always follow her party on certain votes and usually has a reason for not doing so. But she serves us in a very politically divided district, and obviously cannot please all her constituents with every vote.
