Letter: Legal marijuana bill too lenient for potent drug | Honolulu Star-Advertiser

Conspicuously absent in the Feb. 21 article, “Tax break halt still alive, but gambling bills dying,” is legalization of marijuana via Senate Bill 3275, which would legalize growing, selling and using of cannabis by basically anyone over 21. There would be little regulation or licensing, and it could even be sold at a local gas and convenience stores, alongside the cigarettes, cookies and candies.
