Letter: Hawaii has duty to back immigrant population | Honolulu Star-Advertiser

A recent letter is typical of the irrational and unproven rhetoric employed by Donald Trump: Immigrants without legal documentation are criminals and, worse, given the chance would continue to commit crimes simply because “they are unlikely to be deported” (“Isles must not become next sanctuary state,” Star-Advertiser, April 30). I’m sure the author has evidence to prove this “fact.”
