Letter: A cheaper option than burying I-70

I find it curious that, among the proposals and ideas for mitigating traffic noise from Interstate 70 through Vail, as reported in the Vail Daily, there is not one mention of the vastly cheaper and far less disruptive option of installing sound barrier walls. Many towns in Colorado have them, and they can be very attractive and artistic. And the mountains would still be visible above the wall. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Our condo in Avon is…
