Let the sun shine: Village approves expanding library solar project

Summary by Oregon Observer
The Oregon Public Library’s roof is about to get a bit more crowded. In April, the library’s rooftop solar array completed its first full year of energy generation, which offset a third of the building’s energy load while saving $10,320. Things went so well, at their Tuesday, Sept. 2 meeting, Oregon Village Board members approved beginning the planned second phase of that project.
