I was 19 the first time I smoked weed. It was in 1997 at a party at “The Hole,” a rental house about a block north of University Christian Church near TCU. I didn’t know why it was called that, only that it was occupied by some dudes in the Ultimate Frisbee Club on campus. I think one of them was pre-med, and the others were all Advertising/PR majors.
