Leominster’s Troop 11 rowed, climbed, and kayaked through summer
Boy Scouts from Troop 11 Leominster recently spent their week in tents at Camp Wanocksett in Jaffrey, N.H., earning merit badges, shooting bows and guns, swimming, and climbing the tower and Mount Monadnock. On Thorndike Pond, the boys kayaked, sailed, rowed and operated motor boats about Thorndike Pond. Troop 11 is for all boys, ages 11-17, and meets at St. Leo’s Auditorium Thursday evenings during the school year. (COURTESY ART O’LEARY)
